\n A newspaper story in the Herald Examiner told the story. When Trudel’s father in Frankfort-on-Main, Germany received the record,<\/em><\/p>\n

He played it, decided he
\nliked the young man’s voice and
\ncalled in the seventy relatives
\nto see if they did, too. They
\ndid, and all of them signed the
\ncablegram that the father sent
\nto say it was O. K. for them to
\nbe married.\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
