Alzheimer's Association, national voluntary health organization dedicated to conquering Alzheimer's Disease with a network of more than 200 chapters in all 50 states. Site contains information on the disease, chapter locations, advocacy, and research funding information.

American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry, dedicated to promoting the mental health and well being of older people and improving the care of those with late-life mental disorders.

American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Their home page includes information for members in addition to statements on where AARP stands on policy issues.

American Geriatrics Society. Sponsored by AGS, this site features information on the Society, its annual meeting , its publications, and more.

The Association for Gerontology in Higher Education Home Page. The Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) was established in 1974 to advance gerontology as a field of study in institutions of higher learning.

Gerontological Society of America. The Gerontological Society of America is the one of the world's premier professional society for gerontologists with more than 6,000 members. The society produces several journals and holds an annual conference that draws researchers and practitioners from around the world.

American Society on Aging. Membership includes representatives of the public and private sectors, service providers, researchers, educators, advocates, health, allied health, social service, managed care and long-term care and mental health professionals, students and the retired, policy makers and planners.

National Association of State Units on Aging (NASUA) AGE-NET This bulletin board maintained by NASUA is available free to national organizations, federal agencies, advocates, service providers, and area agencies on aging. It provides access to several databases: articles on information and referral (I&R), information about Administration on Aging products developed through the Older Americans Act.

The National Council on the Aging, private, nonprofit association committed to promoting the dignity, self-determination, well-being, and contributions of older persons and to enhancing the field of aging through leadership and service, education, and advocacy.

Kansas State University - School of Family Studies and Human Services. Offers an interdisciplinary MA and PhD program in gerontology.

National Aging Information Center (NAIC) This home page gives basic information about NAIC and its services including a "Bibliographic Database of Documents in Aging," "Statistical Tables on Aging," several links to other Web sites, and a search engine to search its files. Special computer-resident software is needed to download the statistical tables.

*Native Elder Health Care Resource Center. A national resource center for older American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians, with special emphasis on culturally competent health care.

National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging, holds over 900 aging-related datasets. NACDA is part of ICPSR, the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research.

National Center on Elder Abuse

National Guide to Funding in Aging. 4th edition. The home page for this title published by The Foundation Center includes a brief description, the table of contents, and an online order form.
