MACA is a professional membership organization nearly twenty years old. Its Board of Directors is made up of individuals from diverse professions representing service providers, educators, businesses, state government, federal government, and others interested in advancing best practice to meet the needs and potential of older adults in Mid-America. Upcoming Conferences

Join us in Springfiled, Missouri for the2000 MACA conference, to be held at the Holiday Inn University Plaza, April 17 - 19, 2000. The theme for the conference is "Spring in the Ozarks -- A Fresh Start"

Annual Student Paper Competition

The Mid-America Congress on Aging (MACA) is repeating its student paper competition again this year. Two graduate student papers will be designated as MACA 2000 OUTSTANDING STUDENT PAPERS. Student winners will have the opportunity to present their papers at the annual MACA conference, "Spring in the Ozarks: A Fresh Start to be held April 17-19, 2000. Speaker's Bureau: Planning a training session or conference? MACA maintains a registry of available speakers related to the field of aging to help you.

CEUs: The MACA Conference offers an excellent opportunity for enhanced professional stature by earning CEUs.

Membership in MACA is affordable to professionals in the field of aging and offers networking opportunities for your peers in the Midwest. Individual memberships are only $50 per year. Organizational memberships, which provide membership for up to three individuals within the organization are just $130.
